Americans are putting their lives on the line to keep this country moving during the COVID-19 crisis. Our first responders and healthcare workers on the front lines are performing extraordinary work–this work can take its toll on a person’s mental health and wellbeing.
To help first responders and healthcare workers cope during these difficult times, the Connecticut Critical Incident Stress Management Team (CTCISM) is available 24/7. The team members, all trained to the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation standards, will work with individuals or groups in crisis.
While interventions are best done in person, they can still be effective when done by telecommunication, video-conferencing or other electronic media. For 24-hour assistance call 1-800-734-2473.
